The Code came out in April 2007. Our first ever Code job was commissioned in June 2007 surely one of the first. We had to work through various Code reporting methods as the current tools were not available. We worked closely through this first assessment and took a steep learning curve with the Developer, the Architect and our governing body BRE.

For that time the low NOx gas boiler was impressive at 21.8mg/kWh. The end result was a Timber Frame, Gas boiler and an early reduction in the Code Level due to its location in a Conservation Area where renewables were not permitted.
