Photovoltaic systems to accommodate electricity demand from lighting, pumps and appliances. Demand of 3.45 Kwh peak. The PV panels used are a 72 tile system that provides 3.74 Kwh peak
Code 6 home is constructed using a solid wall with external insulation, a precast concrete first floor, timber framed windows and a passive ventilation and heat recovery system.

A+ External Wall: Hand applied plaster, 215 aircrete blockwork (Durox Supabloc), 150mm EPS insulation, render U-value of 0.12 W/m2K.
A+ Windows 1.5 The windows are softwood casement frames with 16mm soft coat low e, argon filled glazing. They have a U-value of 1.50 W/m2K
A+ Rated Roof Timber trussed rafters with insulation, roofing underlay, counterbattens, battens and concrete interlocking tiles U-value of 0.10 W/m2K
