The aesthetics of this site is a particular favourite and was shortlisted for the Civic Trust Award.

This development was a mixture of three, four and five bedroom houses, some two and some three storey and two bedroom flats. I recall this made for an energetic site inspection.

To achieve this higher Code rating utilised Air Source Heat Pump with underfloor heating. Suspended beam and aircrete block ground Floor. Timberframe with brick, render and cladding. Some examples to aid the sites environmental rating includes, 100% dedicated low energy light fittings. Cycle storage, internal or external drying Space, household waste storage and recycling facilities and home composting.

The construction scored well in the materials with all 5 elements achieveing at least an A Rating according to the then GreenGuide.
